What's NewMeet our Doctors

We are excited to announce that on March 1, 2013, Southbay Oncology Hematology Partners (SBOHP) joined University HealthCare Alliance (UHA), a medical foundation partnered with Stanford Hospital & Clinics. This affiliation will allow us to develop a world class cancer program in collaboration with Stanford and bring enhanced services to our patients and medical community.

Some of the services that will begin immediately include:
  • Access to Stanford's clinical research protocols which will enable our patients to be enrolled and treated in Stanford's clinical trials
  • Access to cancer-related supportive care services including patient navigation support for patients
  • A dietician on site to see patients and provide nutritional counseling
  • A social worker on site will assist patients with advance care planning, goals of care discussion, advance directive education, and psychosocial support
  • Improved quality initiatives and patient care

Our practice will gain greater technological abilities and will soon implement a new practice management system and an electronic health record. This will offer our patients more tools to communicate with our physicians and clinical team.

To complete our vision, in 2015, our practice has plans to relocate into a state of the art Cancer Center. The four-story 70,000 square foot building is located near the intersection of Highway 85 and Los Gatos Boulevard. Stanford Hospital & Clinics, in partnership with the SBOHP physicians, is committed to creating an integrated cancer program that will combine the best aspects of an academic center with the best practices of a community-based program.
